USDA Organics Rule to Impact Food Importers

Importers of organic food products should be aware of the USDA's new rules governing organic food products. A recent article by the law firm Perkins Coie is helpful and can be found at the below link.



While this rule impacts organic products only, this is just another reminder of the need for importers to review their supply chain and exercise due diligence in the suppliers and other parties in that chain.
